Dr. Kristina Zakova
D.D.SDr. Kristina Zakova has proudly called Maryland home for over a decade. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, before continuing her education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Kristina is excited to begin her career in general dentistry, bringing with her a strong foundation of clinical training complemented by hands-on experience in the dental field
As an active member of the American Dental Association and the Maryland State Dental Association, Dr. Kristina is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry. She is passionate about delivering patient-centered care, with a focus on preventive and proactive treatment, aesthetic outcomes, and creating a comfortable, anxiety-free experience for every patient. Her goal is to build lasting relationships while helping patients achieve and maintain confident, healthy smiles.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kristina enjoys traveling the world and exploring new cultures, inspired by her Eastern European roots. She is an adventurous foodie, enjoys playing tennis, and is a devoted animal lover who enjoys spending time caring for her family’s golden retriever. She looks forward to continuing to serve the community she has long been a part of and to welcoming patients into the Drewyer Dentistry family.
